Old Mansion in Stradzewo, West Pomerania near Szczecin

Manor house and park from the middle of the 19th century in Stradzewo, Choszczno commune, West Pomeranian Voivodeship.

The palace in Stradtsev was built in 1850 in neoclassical style with elements of arcade decoration. The building has a rectangular ground plan and consists of three floors: first floor, usable attic and basement. It stands on a stone base and is covered with a gable roof.

The manor house is surrounded by a historical manor park and farm buildings. The palace has a strongly pronounced structure, the central part of which protrudes forward and is decorated with a columned portico. The windows are rectangular and decorated with cornices.

The building has been partially renovated. There is a project for the conversion of the building into an exclusive hotel with 21 rooms, which has been agreed with the monument authority. We have an inventory of the building, construction plans and a positive opinion of the monument conservator. The usable area of the palace is 1,535 m² and the living area is about 600 m².

2. Former dovecote in the form of a turret surrounded by a low octagon, also from the 19th century.

The park of 3,4 ha is surrounded by access avenues from the middle of the 19th century. It is dominated by chestnut, linden, oak and maple trees, some of which are 100 to 150 years old.

Stradzewo (German: Stolzenfelde) is a village in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, Choszczno County, in the commune of Choszczno. In the surroundings there are lakes and forests. The distance to Szczecin is 70 km and to Berlin about 200 km. There is also a golf course nearby.
